Another day in the desert.

The perfect time of year for trips over the desert to the inland sea. The weather is beautiful, the sea temperature is perfect for swimming, all up a great day out.

Monica's Birthday Celebrations

We celebrated Monica's birthday this week with presents at home before going out for dinner. Monica enjoyed her day despite being a bit tired after getting 2AM phone call from her mum - please remember the time difference Helen!!!

Johnathan enjoying the dinner.

Susannah loves to cuddle her mummy, especially on her birthday!

Getting ready for the cake, the kids (and Monica for that matter) intently focused on the chocolate pieces on top.

A rare family photo!

Easter Holiday Fun

Over the last two weeks, the kids have been enjoying the spring holidays (two weeks off from school for Johnathan). The weather has been surprisingly mild and even quite a bit of rain which is unusual for this time of year. The compound swimming pool once again resembles a Danish holiday camp as many of the Danes have friends visiting at this time of year. And of course, Easter was a highlight.

Enjoying the easter bounty, we were supposed to be in Dubai for easter but Susannah had a high fever so we decided to delay the trip for two weeks. As you can see, she recovered quickly.

Johnathan went to a four day soccer training school over the holidays, he loved it. The coaches tell us he tackles and plays hard. That's our boy! Here he displays some of his new found skills at home.

Little Susie is growing up fast as you can see...
