Home to Australia - The Journey

In July, we headed home for a holiday in Australia. David went for four weeks, Monica and the kids for about seven weeks (to escape the Doha heat and summer boredom).

Johnathan finishes soccer for the "year"

In early July, Johnathan finished up his soccer for the year (the northern school year anyway). Here they are getting there medals. They were also given a Qatar 2022 kit including bag, cap, water bottle and pen. This was publicity for the world cup bid, to be announced next week!

Long Overdue - Where Have We Been?

We have been a little bit relaxed regarding updating our blog as of late - well for the last five months! Why? Not sure really. But to make up for it, prepare yourself for a barrage of blogging as we attempt to update everything!!

From our last blog, way back in June, we shared some pictures of Johnathan's birthday so it is just after this that we will begin...

A few days after Johnathan's birthday, David was inspired to dig out his old snowboarding gear (for no particular reason, maybe just Doha summer boredom!).

Anyway, as you can see, the kids thought it was great.
