Johnathan's 6th Birthday - The Compound Party

The second celebration was at home on the day of his birthday. All of his compound friends came over to help celebrate. It was a nice afternoon gathering where they all had fun playing party games. We became adventurous with our birthday cakes again and fashioned our own home made cake into the shape of a six and decorated it in a soccer theme. Johnathan was thrilled by it!

We are now gearing up for our trip back home next month. Itinerary is Adelaide/Normanville - Brisbane - Byron Bay - Canberra - Adelaide/Normanville. We are really looking forward to it!

Johnathan's 6th Birthday - The Class Party

Our little boy has turned six!!! His first celebration was last week with all his class mates at "Ray's Reef", one of the shopping centre play areas here in Doha. It was a joint party with his friend Jake (who is now moving on with his family to Mauritius - lucky them), the kids all had a great time and Johnathan got a stack of presents - he was very happy.
